1. How do I post an ad?

Posting an ad on Efritin.com is quick and easy! Simply click the yellow Post Ad button and follow the instructions.

If you are not already logged in, you will need to log in as the first step of posting your ad.

Your ad will go live once it has been reviewed (this usually takes less than 1 hour during office hours).

Please note, all first time posters are verified before ads are approved.

2. How do I delete my ad?

To delete an ad, please go to your ad's page and click on the "Delete ad" option.

Tip: you can find your ad easily by logging in to your account and visiting your "My ads" page!

3. How do I edit my ad?

To edit an ad, please go to your ad's page and click on the "Edit ad" option.

Tip: you can find your ad easily by logging in to your account and visiting your "My ads" page!

4. How do I set a new password on Efritin.com?

To set a new Efritin.com password, please log in to your account, go to the "Settings" page and enter a new password.

If you have forgotten your Efritin.com password, you can:

  • go to the log-in page and click on the "Forgot your password?" link
  • go to one of your ads, click on "Edit ad" or "Delete ad", and click on the "Forgot your password?" link.

If you have created an account via Facebook, you will not have a Efritin.com password. You can log in to your account via Facebook without a password.

5. How long do ads stay on Efritin.com?

Ads appear for 60 days, unless you delete them earlier.

6. I posted an ad but can't find it. What's wrong?

Tip: you can keep track of your ads easily by logging in to your account and visiting your "My ads" page!

To make your experience on Efritin as secure and safe as possible, our team verifies the accounts of first-time posters. Only ads from verified accounts are published live on Efritin.

All ads are reviewed against fraud and spam so if you are a verified poster it can take up to 1 hour before an ad is published on the site. If you still can't find your ad after 1 hour, it may have violated our posting rules. If your ad was not approved, you should have received an email explaining the reasons.

If you have been waiting longer than 24 hours for a response from us, you may have given us the wrong contact details when you posted the ad. Try posting again or contact us.

7. Why has my ad been rejected?

All of the ads are manually reviewed - if your ad violates our posting rules it will be rejected. You can read what changes you have to make before the ad can be approved in the rejection email.

8. I'm getting contacted about an ad I didn't post. Can you help me?

Of course. Please contact us and we will help you right away.

9. I haven't received any responses to my ad. What's wrong?

If you are not receiving responses to our ads, we recommend taking a look at our tips on how to sell fast.

10. What are the rules for posting on Efritin.com?

We don't allow ads that contain:

  • an item or service that is illegal in Nigeria
  • an item or service that is not located in Nigeria
  • an invalid phone number or email address
  • an unrealistic offer
  • offensive language
  • offensive pictures
  • text in the title or description that is not related to the advertised item or service
  • pictures that do not match or clearly show the advertised item or service
  • a non-specific item or service, e.g. a description of a company in general terms
  • a URL link that is not relevant to the advertised item or service
  • offers and requests for items or services in the same ad
  • the same content as another live ad, or the same content as another ad that was posted within the last 48 hours
  • multiple items in the same ad, unless it is a package deal
  • “work from home" jobs
  • network marketing and pyramid scheme jobs
  • payment requests before employment
11. How do I sign up for a user account on Efritin.com?

Signing up for an account on Efritin.com is quick, easy and completely free! To sign up on Efritin.com, please go to the Sign up page and follow the instructions. You can sign up with an email address or through your Facebook account.

Once you have signed up, a link will be sent to your email with instructions on how to verify your email address.

12. How do I log in and log out of my account?

To log in to your account, simply go to the Log in page and enter your email and Efritin.com password. If you have created an account via Facebook, click on "Continue with Facebook" and follow the instructions.

To log out of your account, simply click the "Log out" option.

13. How do I change my account details?

To change the details on your account, log in to your account and go to your account's "Settings" page.

14. Why can't I log in to my account?

15. What should I do if an ad does not seem right?

Go to the ad and click on "Report this ad". Select the reason for reporting the ad, fill in your email address, provide details of what is wrong with the ad, and click "Send report".
