Our Client, an online retail company, whose business operations is within Lagos and its environs. They require applications from suitable candidates, who resides within Lagos or are willing to relocate, to fill this position.

As a sales and customer service representative, your primary objective is to work in the sales department, and handle all sales aspect of the company as follows:
• sell the company’s products and services and report to the general manager;
• Liaise between the office and the warehouse;
• providing help and advice to customers using your organisation's products or services;
• communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face;
• investigating and solving customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that have been passed on by customer service assistants;
• handling customer complaints or any major incidents;
• issuing refunds or compensation to customers;
• keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers;
• analysing statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service your organisation is providing;
• producing written information for customers, often involving use of computer packages/software;
• writing reports analysing the customer service that your organisation provides;
• developing feedback or complaints procedures for customers to use;
• improving customer service procedures, policies and standards for your organisation or department;
• keeping ahead of developments in customer service

• Minimum qualification - HND or Bsc;
• 2-3 Years in this job related field;
• Ability to generate results and meet targets;
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills;
• Good business sense and a professional manner;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Good communication and people skills;
• Good organisational and time management skills;
• Ability to work well on your own and also as part of a team;
• Confidence, motivation and determination;
• Pay attention to detail;
• The ability to deal with rejection;
• Ability to develop in-depth knowledge about your products & markets;
• IT skills.
