As a leading General Contractor in Lagos, focusing on key markets in financial, healthcare and retail, this organisation is committed to driving successful projects across their construction, facilities and maintenance divisions. With expansion and growth key drivers, they require a Service Manager to join their team and oversee the commercial functions of their maintenance team in Lagos.
Your new role
Overseeing a team of Service Technicians you will play a key role in managing business functions including relationship and account management, operations and direction to the division. You will be fundamental in leveraging existing relationships and accounts and ensuring all services are performed to a high level whilst also identifying new opportunities for the maintenance business to diversify and develop into. This will involve managing 7 internal staff and driving the business in a professional manner.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have well developed management skills, with exposure to facilities, maintenance, or construction industry in some capacity. Specific technical expertise is advantageous but strong management and business acumen will not be overlooked as your role is to provide direction and business strategy whilst the Service Technicians manage the daily technical delivery functions. Your ability to build and grow accounts and relationships whilst ensuring your team deliver will be key to your success.
