To explain important nutrition issues to people in risk communities.
To assess the health and diet needs of patients.
To develop effective meal plans, accounting for cost and cultural preferences.
To evaluate how the meals are affecting the clients and making changes if needed.
To promote better nutrition in the community by talking to families about better diet and nutrition.
To keep up to date on scientific research on nutrition.
The minimum requirement for this position is SSCE, as adequate training shall be given.
