The Role of the Receptionist The receptionist is responsible for guest/client satisfaction by performing the proper services to the best of their ability and maintaining the standards throughout all procedures. The receptionist proactively welcomes guests, is knowledgeable about treatments and services offered as well as possessing a passion for customer service.
Becomes knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with clients.
Greets each and every guest with a smile.
Excellent communication, customer service skills, and work ethic efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties.
Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
Strong team player.
Performs day to -day administrative functions and general office duties including but not limited to word processing, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones and data entry.
Transfers calls as needed; works with team to ensure adequate phone coverage at all times.
Provide excellent customer service for clients; practices confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance to the requirements of the organization.
Maintains waiting areas, office files, and front - desk areas in a manner that is organized and neat.
Performs other duties as may be required.
