The position of Executive Assistant/Project Manager is responsible for providing support to the CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board including but not limited to various project management, coordinating functions, meetings, training sessions and special events; gathering data and compiling various reports for management; photocopying and scanning materials; maintaining files; issuing correspondence; promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations. The position of Executive Assistant/Project Manager requires, by nature of the superiors' positions, involvement with high level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.
Performs required administrative duties; prepares correspondence and other documents for the CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board; sets up and maintains files; maintains calendars for the CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board; makes travel arrangements and hotel reservations; handles phone calls and messages for the CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board as needed; sorts, screens and distributes mail for the CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board.
Works independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects; acts as a project manager for special projects, at the request of the CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, and organizing company wide events.
Provides effective customer service and assists in resolving problems within given authority.
Operates computer terminal or personal computer to complete work duties.

Bachelors Degree in related field desired; or equivalent from any technical school and three years related experience; or five of related experience and/or training. Work related experience should consist of administrative/secretarial duties. Financial institution background would be beneficial. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
Proficient administrative skills typically resulting from a combination of education in computer operation and several years of experience in administrative or secretarial positions.
Basic knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
Intermediate knowledge of general office practices.
Skills in routing telephone calls and a pleasant speaking voice.
Courteous social skills to welcome visitors in a business environment.
Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; and word processing, spreadsheet and graphical software programs.
Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.
Basic math skills; calculate interest and balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
Current driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
The incumbent must be able to perform this position safely, without endangering the health or safety to himself or herself or others.
