Our client, a leading ICT/Project Management company requires qualified candidates for the position of Business Development Manager (Services)
Qualification: A relevant first degree, MBA or its equivalent (added advantage), 7+ years industry experience in Sales & Marketing.
Role, Objective & Context:
To support the General Manager while assuming responsibility for the achievement of the set Sales target.
Proficiency in marketing concepts and practices, sales target definition, sales analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Accountable for the delivery of new business opportunities and new clients across varied products and service lines.
Delivery of new businesses from clients across varied functional areas, geographical regions (outside Lagos) and market segments.
Drive an increase in exposure and visibility for the organisation
Responsible for revenue-generation by sourcing for new clients and contracts.
Create an operational plan for strategic sales and marketing, driving organisational vision.
Create a strong online presence for the business
Sales & Marketing - ability to convert marketing plans to sales.
Strong Networking & Interpersonal Skills
Strong Communication and Influencing skills – clear, concise, and persuasive in style.
Good writing skills
Experienced with working on the internet and social media
Good blogger, experienced with working on the internet and social media
Good communication skills, English grammar & writing skills
Knowledge of website management in terms of brand management
Energized by an entrepreneurial environment – not afraid to suggest and defend good ideas. Takes initiative and follows-through on commitments to achieve results.
