This book is one you would need to prepare for life;s journey. You know when good things happen to people the general believe is that they are lucky. On the contrary, when bad things happen to people they are said to be ill-fated.
An average man wishes for good things. We always desire to be lucky in all that we do, whereas in most cases we run away from danger and avoid hazardous situations. Unfortunately, quite a lot of things that would happen to us would be beyond our control.
When I considered the fact that today’s human life is filled with uncertainties it became expedient that I write a book so titled: Before the Evil Day Comes.
In as much as we loathe evil things happening to us, we cannot avoid completely evil things happening to us. If that be the case, there is need for one to be prepared for unforeseen evil days that shall come to him.
You may feel resentful to this proposition at this time. Naturally we do not consider death to be a good thing, but whether we like it or not it is one of the evil that must happen to us and it would happen on a particular day which is not known to us. Be that as it may, would it not rather be wise to prepare for such a day.
This book was written to tell you the home truth which often times we do not tell ourselves.
For instance, in the course of life we make friends and lose them. Some that had parents have lost them; some have lost their spouses; a lot of people have lost their jobs; we keep losing one belonging or another. Unfortunately we failed to tell ourselves the truth in the first place. The fact remains that those things we currently have and enjoy, someday, somehow we shall lose them.
As a young man I never knew that one day I would lose my grandmother. But, in the year 1989 my grandmother passed on. I wept uncontrollably because she was to me everything a child could ever wish for in a grandparent. Alas, the stark reality dawned on me that grandma was gone; it dawned on me that I had never prepared for that day. That day happened to be an evil day for me.
There comes a time when you would lose one thing or another that is dear to you - so you had better be prepared for such a day, because when that day comes, it would be an evil day to you.
As a matter of destiny and not choice, we shall all experience the evil day. This book gives you an insight into such a day. You would encounter my near-crash experience; you would encounter the five things that could happen to you as an employee, and you would encounter those things out there threatening to take your life and lots more.
The best favour you can do to yourself at this moment is to take time to read this book. If for no reason, but for the fact that you would encounter the truth you would naturally not tell yourself.
Before the evil day comes, you must be prepared!
