•To manage all day-to-day financial and accounting processes within the organisation
•Responsible for the day-to-day management of all financial, banking and tax operations including:
•Carry out monthly bank reconciliations process, petty cash reconciliation and the financial reconciliations that may be required from time to time
•Production of monthly payroll for all staff.
•Provide support to staff on invoice queries or any other financial queries
•Ensure accurate management of store and inventory including receipt and audit of goods
•Take monthly stock
•Create sales invoice as might be required
•Tax: monthly remittance of tax returns to Nigerian tax Authority; resolve any tax issues; file for annual PAYE tax certificate; maintain tax monitoring spreadsheet
•Manage relationship with bank and resolve any banking issues that arise in relation to banks processes
•Prepare for internal or external audit.
•In coordination with procurement officer, prepare procurement report
•Maintain purchase order monitoring sheet.
•Keep up to date customer list
•Maintain customer accounts.
